In this position you are responsible for the following parts of the Supply Chain:
We are looking for you if you have strong skills in processes and you are able to think critically and innovatively. Continuously improving the processes is what gives you satisfaction. It is a new function in a new organization. This means that all processes are new. That requires a pioneering mentality and a hands-on approach.
Equally important is that you have excellent social and leadership skills. As a people manager in the true sense of the word you guide and motivate the employees in your team to deliver optimal performance.
You work directly with the operational director who is also your supervisor. The operational director is responsible, among other things, for the production process. In his absence you replace him process-based and as a manager and responsible person. This means that you are also closely involved in the production process.

Our client is an international high-tech startup in the agricultural sector. They establish their first production hall and head office in Poeldijk. The production hall is currently being set up so that production can start within a few months. The company grows herbs under ideal conditions. This is called vertical farming. Sustainability is highly valued. Because of the growth method, there is a constant quality. No pesticides are used and the logistics are local to local. The team currently consists of 15 members. This number is growing strongly in the coming period.
